Add some colour to your life and go daringly dramatic or enhance your own gorgeous shade with a fresh, subtle look. The right colour can make or break your style so let our expert stylists take the reins and create the exact look you’ve been dreaming of.
We ask that you arrive when your visit is scheduled to start and not earlier. For safety, we are limiting the number of people in a salon at any one time so there will not be a waiting area inside.
We also ask that you show up for your visit alone unless you need to bring a parent, guardian, or carer.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late we may need to rebook your appointment for another time as we need to stick to timings very carefully to make sure there are not too many people in the salon. The salon manager will advise whether you need to be rebooked or if your appointment can begin late.
You should have received and completed a Pre-Appointment Health questionnaire. If you haven’t completed one you’ll be asked to do so, we need every client to answer these questions so we can keep everyone safe.
Our team members will all have their temperatures checked each day when they arrive so we can ensure no one working in the salon has a fever.
Salons may be able to accommodate walk-ins and consultations but each salon manager will decide on a case by case basis whether they have the capacity.
Colour services must be booked with a full-priced cut & blowdry.
During Your Visit
When you first arrive there will be a sign on the door of the salon with guidance to help you understand what changes have been made.
We will have screens between each station and floor markings to help you with social distancing. There will also be hand sanitiser available and you will be asked to use this when you first arrive.
All our stylists will be wearing disposable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like visors or goggles with a mask plus disposable aprons. When you arrive you’ll be provided with a disposable mask to wear in the salon.
We ask that you don’t bring anything unnecessary to the salon. We do not currently have storage for coats or bags so you will need to keep anything you bring to the salon with you during your appointment.
We encourage you to bring your own drink as we won’t be able to serve the complimentary refreshments you’re used to. We will have disposable cups for water available but please bring your own if at all possible.
Magazines have also been removed from salons because they are handled by multiple people and there’s not a good way for us to disinfect them. You may bring your own but please be sure you take it with you when you leave.
Every piece of equipment that your stylist may use will be cleaned before your visit. We will be cleaning equipment throughout the day between every client for your safety. We will also be using a Covid tested anti-bacterial spray on all surfaces, furniture, and mirrors to keep everyone in the salon as safe as possible.
Your stylist will use the mirror to speak with you rather than talking face to face. Please try to avoid turning to speak with them even at the beginning and end of your visit.
If you need to use the bathroom it will be available and we have special cleaning protocols to ensure this is safe for both our team and our clients to use throughout the day.
All Rush salons are now cashless for all payments so please bring a debit or credit card with you to pay when you visit. You can also use Apple Pay. If you would like to tip your stylist you will be able to do this with your card and they will receive the tip directly in their wages.
We’re committed to complying with the Government’s Track and Trace programme to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. If we are required to supply details to the Government for Track and Trace, we will provide your name, contact details, and the times you were in the salon. Your data is safe with us, we store everything securely so that it’s GDPR compliant and we will never share your details unless it’s required under the regulations.
We are also launching a new customer app soon which will give you the opportunity to book and pay online to reduce the need to do this in the salon. We’ll let all clients know as soon as it’s available.
We will still have salon-quality products available to buy at the front desk, just ask about them as only the front desk will handle any products and we will have a limited number on display.
Colour services must be booked with a full-priced cut & blowdry.
